I found this a meaty article, even if it had words I couldn't find in my dictionary and kept tantalizingly mentioning cosmic strings. There are a great many equations in this article; one can ignore them and still find the content useful, or one could work through them and find enlightenment.

Well, it's a chart of sources and signal strength and frequencies; it's a tad difficult for me to reproduce, here, but I do have it on my signals page. It's a nice table, even though it doesn't have black hole/black hole binaries. Hmm.
