Local Gryphons

Sunwing

This absent-minded gryphon is Sunwing. He's a good lad, but he gets distracted so easily! If Cloud hadn't warned him back to reality that one day, he would have crash-landed into the forest. He wears the braids of a craftsman, except he didn't quite stick to one craft. Jack-of-all-trades, that's him! He's given his due for diversity and flexibility, but he still has low standing among the clan due to his youth. He flips his wings: Ah well; and he'll get distracted by something else. His latest project is designing a single-gryphon carry-net that can be used for longer flights (the normal harness chafes too much over long distances). He's approachable enough and calls many 'friend,' gryphon and non-gryphon alike. He can be found more often than not watching the dancing reflections of sunlight off a stream, blissfully daydreaming his way offplanet. Don't get him wrong: he enjoys a good dance in the sky just as much as the next gryphon.

Cloud Dancer

Sky-friend of Sunwing, Cloud Dancer shares his curiosity about the world, but you won't catch this gryphon dreaming in the sun all day. Everything holds some kind of wonder for her. She loves to find out how things work and are put together, often ending up in some rather embarassing situations in the process (her fame about the owl incident being enough to make her nares redden at the memory). She's quick to defend her friends but not above some judicious teasing. Strong emotions rule her life: curiosity, joy, regret, anger, and ambition burn fiercly in her golden eyes.

Brightfeather Jaybird

This fine, bright fellow is Brightfeather Jaybird, who only answers to his full name under punishment of being pounced. Jay to his friends and Peacock to everyone else. He swears like a cat that his coloration is natural. You want the proverbial trickster, jester, and prankster? Look no further, Brightfeather is pulling your tail. His tawny eyes are always laughing at something, even if it is himself. He is the self-proclaimed king of the skies, and his skill at flying almost deserves that title. Follow the shouts of "arrogant peacock!" and "half-mink trouble-maker!", and there will be Jaybird, laughing his tail off.
