Photography : Land & Sky: Embers and Ashes
The Southwest has some truly spectacular storms during its short rainy season. I am in love with the rich range of colors the Sun can instill in clouds: bright eye-searing white, storm slate blue, glowing gold, proud magenta, steadfast red and then ashen gray. Light interacting with the atmosphere is a breathtaking application of optics and the random art that is nature. It is a credit to our species that atmospheric processess can kindle feelings of awe and wonder!
